Season 2 Episode 2 (15) Adelaide Crows

Rob & Lochie open up the club series with the Adelaide Crows.
Found in 1991, the Crows have stayed true to their Home jumpers, but found a place to experiment with their Away & Clash jumpers.

Season 2, Episode 1,(14) - 2023 Uniform Changes

In 2022 we discussed the various changes in football uniforms from 1858 to 2022. 
In this our first episode of 2023, Lochie & Rob discuss the changes we will see in the 2023 season.

Episode 13 - 2015 - 2022

Rob & Lochie discuss the late 2010s up to 2022. This was an era of teams returning to traditional designs, socks getting shorter, and sponsor logos appearing above numbers. 

Episode 12 - 2010 - 2014

Rob & Lochie discuss the early 2010s. This was an era of printing names on jumpers. These were Players Names or  Members Names, and some jumpers for special occasions such as Games Records and Milestone game. Gold Coast & GWS Giants debuted, and Freo and Port changed to more traditional designs.

Rob & Lochie discuss Heritage Round, what it was, and why it died out, also more Promotional jumpers and number fonts.

Episode 10 - 2000 - 2004

Lochie & Rob discuss the beginnings of one off - promotional jumpers, sponsorships in general, and the 2004 Melbourne jumpers which were a lighter shade of Navy Blue.

Episode 9 - 1996 - 1999

In this episode Rob & Lochie discuss the late 90s, the rise of second and third options for jumpers as well as apparel sponsorship. The big brands start getting into making footy gear.

Episode 8 - 1990 - 1995

Lochie & Rob discuss the beginning of the AFL era, and the introduction of sublimated 'printed' jumpers. 
 

Episode 7 - 1980 - 1989

Lochie & Rob discuss the impact of expanding the competition from the Victorian Football League to including teams all around Australia. 
 

Episode 6 - 1975 - 1987

How colour TV coming to Australia changed the face of footy, and how it progressed when the Victorian Football League became the Australian Football League.
